University Coursework Scrum Master

As part of my Computer Science degree at the University of Leicester, I participated in an IBM SkillsBuild group project where I served as Scrum Master.

What I did

My role was to keep the team organised and on track. I facilitated sprint planning and retrospectives, coordinated group sessions around everyone's schedules and managed the project timeline to ensure we met our coursework deadlines.

I also helped the team break down requirements into manageable tasks, tracked progress across sprints and resolved blockers when team members were stuck or waiting on dependencies.

What I learned

This was a valuable introduction to agile delivery in a real team setting. It strengthened my communication and leadership skills and gave me practical experience balancing technical work with project coordination, skills I've since applied in both university and professional environments.
